Now there are many activities you can enjoy outside other than walking. You can ride your bicycle around town. If you like to go for a swim find the local pool or a lake. Swimming exercises your whole body and is excellent for burning bodyfat.
How about a softball league? Maybe that was fun for you in school? Relive your youth and enjoy this sport again. Tennis and raquetball are great ways to burn calories.
If it has been awhile since you did any real physical activity just take it slow until you start to get back in shape.
You can’t eat and play sports at the same time it just doesn’t work. The time spent practicing and playing will keep your mind off food.
Now you don’t have to just exercise outside. You could go to the library, craft store or other non-food place. The point of getting out of the house is to not overeat.
It really is as simple as getting out of the house more, getting some exercise and staying away from food as much as possible.
Whichever activity you decide to do to get out of the house, as long as it does not include food, is fine. You will soon learn not to depend so much on food and you will enjoy getting out of the house more.
As you do more activities and break the urge to overeat, you will even see that extra weight begin to fall off. You will have a brand new body through this process of just getting out of the house, getting some exercise and staying away from the food. Another thing to do is quit using food as a reward. Learn how to reward yourself with something non-edible like some new clothes to fit your slimmed down body..
We reward ourselves with food and that also makes us overeat at the house. So learn a new reward system on top of getting out of the house, and you will conquer your problem. You will soon no longer be a victim of compulsive overeating.
